Making Remote Work: The Irish National Remote Work Strategy

Share

The Irish Government recently announced it would be rolling out new legislation from September 2021 which will give employees the legal right to request the option to work remotely. The legislation will also provide for the right to disconnect.

The strategy aims to build on the progress made in the adoption of remote work during the Pandemic period. The objective is to ensure that remote working is a
permanent feature in the Irish workplace in a way that maximises economic, social and environmental benefits.
